I'm not receiving calls made to my regular mobile number while on KnowRoaming

*ReachMe Service is only compatible with the KnowRoaming Global SIM Sticker.

To receive calls from your home mobile number while on KnowRoaming, you must first enable the ReachMe feature.

If your home mobile number is based in a country where ReachMe is not offered, you will not see the ReachMe feature in your KnowRoaming app.

If your country is supported, you will need to ensure you have call forwarding enabled with your home mobile service provider. You can always use your free US KnowRoaming number as well as any purchased KnowRoaming numbers to make and receive calls.

ReachMe should be set up through the KnowRoaming App before leaving your home country. If you did not set it up before traveling and switching onto KnowRoaming Active, please follow these steps (for iPhone, Android and Windows Mobile) to switch back to your home SIM and enable ReachMe:

iPhone

1. Find a WiFi connection and turn off data roaming. Go to Settings > Cellular > turn Data Roaming OFF

2. Switch back to your home SIM. Go to Settings > Phone > SIM Applications > Return to Home SIM > then wait a few minutes to connect to your home network

3. Open the KnowRoaming app to the main page and select ReachMe. Follow the steps in the ReachMe tutorial.

4. Once completed, switch back to KnowRoaming. Go to Settings > Phone > SIM Applications > Manual Switch > select the first letter of the country you are currently traveling in > select the country name > then wait a few minutes to connect to the network (if it takes more than a few minutes, restart your phone.)

5. After connecting to KnowRoaming, enable data roaming. Go to Settings > Cellular > turn Data Roaming ON

Android

1. Find a WiFi connection and turn off data roaming. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > enable Data Roaming

2. Switch back to your home SIM. Open the SIM Toolkit App > Return to Home SIM > then wait a few minutes to connect to your home network

3. Open the KnowRoaming app to the wizard page and select "Receive my home mobile calls while KnowRoaming is active" and follow the steps in the tutorial.

4. Once completed, switch back to KnowRoaming. Open the SIM Toolkit > Manual Switch > select the first letter of the country you are currently traveling in > select the country name > then wait a few minutes to connect to the network (if it takes more than a few minutes, restart your phone.)

5. After connecting to KnowRoaming, enable data roaming. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > enable Data Roaming

Windows Mobile

1. Find a WiFi connection and turn off data roaming. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > enable Data Roaming

2. Switch back to your home SIM. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > SIM Applications > Return to Home SIM > then wait a few minutes to connect to your home network

3. Open your browser to the KnowRoaming web app (mobile.knowroaming.com) and sign into your account. If you reside outside of the US, you will need to purchase a local KnowRoaming number to forward your calls to. To do this, select "Purchase foreign number" and follow the steps to select a number from your home country.

4. Go to Phone > turn call forwarding On > enter your KnowRoaming call forwarding number (the US number if you're based in the US or the local number you purchased) with international code in front > you should now see the call forwarding icon at the top and the forwarding number saved.

5. Once completed, switch back to KnowRoaming. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > SIM Applications > Manual Switch > select the first letter of the country you are currently traveling in > select the country name > then wait a few minutes to connect to the network (if it takes more than a few minutes, restart your phone.)

6. After connecting to KnowRoaming, enable data roaming. Go to Settings > Mobile Networks > enable Data Roaming.
