There are always two places you can check to confirm which SIM your phone or tablet is using.
1) SIM Toolkit or SIM Applications
Depending on which phone you're using you can find 'What SIM AM I On?' button to give you a pop up that will display either "KnowRoaming SIM" or "Home SIM".
Android
Open your Apps menu and find the SIM Toolkit app. Within the SIM Toolkit app you'll see the 'What SIM Am I On?' button and get the pop up when you select it.
iPhone
Go to your iPhone Settings, then select Cellular or Mobile Data, and then scroll all the way down to select SIM Applications. Within the SIM Applications menu you'll find the 'What SIM Am I On?' button and get the pop up when you select it.
iPad
Go to your iPad Settings, then select Cellular or Mobile Data, and then SIM Applications. On some iOS versions you may need to select Cellular Data Options after Cellular before you'll see the SIM Applications option. Within the SIM Applications menu you'll find the 'What SIM Am I On?' button and get the pop up when you select it.
2) Within the KnowRoaming App
The KnowRoaming apps (Android and iOS only) can detect which SIM your phone is and will always display this information on the main page at the top of the screen. See screenshot below:
